In the rapidly growing digital era, MOOCs offer flexible and high-quality learning access, providing opportunities to improve students' English proficiency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of virtual education through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the development of English literacy among students at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Darunnajah Trenggalek. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation involving students and teachers at MA Darunnajah Trenggalek who participated in the MOOCs program. The findings show that MOOCs provide significant benefits in improving students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. Additionally, this platform introduces students to the global context of the English language and expands their cultural horizons. However, the study also found challenges related to limited technological infrastructure and students' digital literacy, which may hinder the effectiveness of MOOCs implementation. Therefore, this research recommends improving technological infrastructure, providing digital training for both teachers and students, and integrating MOOCs into the formal curriculum to achieve optimal results. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more inclusive educational policies and support the transformation of technology-based learning in Indonesia.
