JELS: Journal of Education and Language Studies is a high-quality, open-access, peer-reviewed international journal published quarterly by Hadza Media Publisher. JELS offers a platform for researchers, academics, professionals, and practitioners to disseminate and exchange knowledge through high-quality empirical and theoretical research papers, pilot studies, opinion pieces, and reviews (including scoping/systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and book reviews).

The journal is an international source of peer-reviewed information on scholarly communication, focusing on language- and education-related topics. It covers various aspects such as academic and literary writing, writing for publication, science editing, canonical and non-standard elements of scholarly texts, English as an Additional Language (EAL), English as a lingua franca, multilingualism, literacy development, journal writing conventions, structural and thesis-oriented aspects of scholarly writing, research readability, writing confidence, publishing standards, development of academic writing skills, curriculum enrichment, moves and steps theory in literary writing, and rhetorical schemas.

In the Education section, topics include evolving university missions, employability skills of graduates, soft skills, educational reform, innovative teaching models and progressive learning technologies (such as flipped classrooms, blended learning, and deep active learning), virtual education and MOOCs, gamification and game-based curricula, quality assessment of tertiary education and international rankings, and mobility and autonomy in higher education.
